Shot List

Shot 1

First line of caption fades in from black and then the second line of the caption fades in shortly afterwards. The writing is going to be in a Courier New white font on a black background. The caption will then fade out.

Shot 2
Straight cut to close up of Nathan in a canted angle (Camera hand held to give the found footage/personal look). This makes the audience question what is actually going on in the scene, why is this character recording himself?

Shot 3
Mid-shot of Monica. Nathan pans the camera around to face her, shows her in her pyjamas shows that she is comfortable in her home and is a regular person.

Shot 4
Straight cut to long shot of Nathan and Monica pointing the camera at a mirror and talking. Shows the couple in familiar surroundings and helps the audience relate to the more. The characters begin to introduce themselves.

Shot 5
Jump cut to close up of Nathan running through the forest screaming Lily’s name (Monica’s character name). This heightens the tension within our film and suddenly sets the audience of edge.

Shot 6
Jump cut back to the first location, long shot of Monica and Nathan still stood in front of the mirror. Nathan begins to introduce himself. The audience can relax slightly because the atmosphere is calm once again.

Shot 7
Jump cut back to second location, close up shot of Nathan again, this time Monica can be heard yelling his name from a distance somewhere in the background. This once again heightens the tension as the audience are confused about what exactly is happening.

Shot 8
Jump cut back to the first location, long shot of Nathan in the mirror, Monica is walking out of the room.

Shot 9
Jump cut back to the second location, extreme close up of Nathan in distress, still calling for Monica. Building suspense for the audience. Speaking about the situation, gets cut off.


Shot 10
Jump cut back to the first location, long shot of Nathan walking down the stairs, Monica is hiding from him behind a door
.

Shot 11
Jump cut back to the second location, camera at a canted angled. Nathan hits the floor next to the camera, extreme close up of him. Shows the audience his last moment.

Straight cut to film title: ‘Shadow of eden’
