Task Rough Cut
This is the rough cut to our film opening. Some feedback we received from our friends, who are also the target audience, was that it felt too similar to a trailer, with the computer generated sequence at the end. This is why in comparison to the rough cut, our final cut features this opening sequence at the beginning, as that follows more trends of openings. We also were originally unable to find a filter that made the blood look impressive, so at this stage we did not have a filter, leading to the audience feeling it looked too bright for a movie that takes place during the night. However, we found the filter that both makes the film look dark, and the blood still look impressive, so we decided to use that filter. Also, at the end, we featured a 'Two hours earlier..' at the end, showing that the film connects up at the end, as the earlier sections took place at the beginning. Overall I am happy with our rough cut, and would be perfectly happy had it been the final cut, however I believe that the changes we made to the final cut do greatly improve the opening, such as the filter making it actually look like it takes place during dusk, and the overall feeling of what it is being changed by the position of the computer generated sequence, therefore to me it is a positive thing

Pitch
Above here is our presentation for our pitch showing our film, and below is us doing our pitch, using the presentation above. We did this Pitch to our class and one of our media teachers
From the audience research, we learnt that Found footage may be more Niche than at least I originally thought, however, it is still popular enough for me to feel it is worth doing it. Based on the audience feedback in general, we will edit our ideas for the film somewhat.
Behind the scenes
To give our film a more personal touch, we made a Bloopers/ Behind the Scenes little documentary thing, and it will speak for itself. This was recorded during the day that we recorded the film opening, and it gives a more personal touch
